We came, we saw, we pubcrawled. And why wouldn't we? 12 bars, 5 free drinks, naughty santas, elves, reindeer, and christmas trees- yes, you can make christmas trees naughty. Hundreds of crawlers to celebrate the holidays despite the 80 degree weather. Heat and lack of snow doesn't stop the festivities for those dedicated to a good cause. Replacing the usual cover fee was an option for crawlers to either give up the cold, hard cash, or some Toys for Tots.

You would think that heat and holidays don't mix, especially around this time of the year. I mentioned the lack of snow earlier...and that wasn't entirely true. Stop number two on the crawl (or was it three or four?) featured snow covered mountains and elk- at the Lodge. They pulled out all the stops to provide a true "white christmas" for those of us south of the snow storms. The girls and boys of Wall St., Church St., and Orange Ave.  were all quite festive as well with drink specials arranged by the best party organizers that ever did exist, the men, the legends...the OPC guys.

As if the costumes and crazy antics weren't enough, hearing some of your naughty and nice lists was pretty entertaining too. Just in case you were in coma, Wednesday night is Orlando’s official ladies night where ladies pay no cover and the drink specials are unbelievable.

First stop: Back Booth.  A punky mix of 80’s hits, cult classics, and toe tapping remixes send the daintiest divas spinning in circles around by-standing boys. Stop in for plenty of punk rock glamour and a glass of the house brew.

Second Stop:  Dragon Room Ultra Lounge. With the DJ spinning the best dance hits and top 40, there is no way any lady can sit still for too long.  Booty bumping, and burning up the dance floor with hella-sexy heat, bad girls strut, shake, gyrate, and wiggle-it-just-a-little-bit.  Too tired to turn it up, take a seat above to dance floor in the elevated VIP room over looking the girls gone wild and the men seeking mavens.

Last Stop: Chillers. No wimpy women here.  Only the strongest survive, in the wall to wall jungle of girls behaving badly. If you can’t find an inch on the dance floor, make you’re your way to the stage, and put your lovely lady lumps on display. Drink specials galore on every floor; a good girl’s nightmare, but a bad girls dream.  When your twinkle toes are tired take it up to the top floor to “chill” out before the slow stumble home.
