You know how sometimes the planets align or fate just works against you no matter how hard you try to accomplish a certain task? Well that’s how I felt when I was about to hit my shutter button while attempting to make my first photograph of Spoon @ Firestone. Everything from battery problems, to vip badge problems, and computer problems to parking problems kept me from getting into Firestone early enough to catch the first 3 Songs of Spoon
The first three songs-no flash rule for photographers in this industry is rather standard, but throughout the Anti-pop festival so far this year I almost forgot that that standard existed. Evidently this band and their management are sticklers about it so, as I was about to depress my shutter, I was denied and made aware by the festival’s official photographer Eric, that we were officially cut off.
Ug!
