Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club is going to close

It seems Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney will be losing one of its oldest clubs, the Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club will be shutting its doors on Feb. 3, according to this article in the Sentinel:

It also states there are no plans to wreck the building. What I thought was most fascinating in my wonderfully morbid way is the fact it used to be a roller skating rink. I would pay money to see people loaded listening to some Huey Lewis cover band falling all over each other under those stage lights. They changed the concept for that exact reason -- some people just don't have a sense of humor.
